INITIAL APPROACH TO TRAUMA IN THE EMERGENCY SERVICES
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Emergency personnel should be trained to a level where it can make a prompt and efficient diagnostic approach; run priority interventions that change the direction from deterioration to the improvement of his patient and to determine additional support schemes that are consistent with current technologies .
This training program will confront every attendee, taking in the company of experienced instructors, to implement individual vital interventions that benefit the survival of their patients.

- Sequential trauma approach in the different systems.
- Escharotomy for critically burned patients.
- Determination of Blood Pressure Indices (API) for the diagnosis of arterial injury.
- Thoracotomy Tube Placement.
- Exploration of traumatic wounds.
- Epiplocele and evisceration Management.
- Use of Laryngeal Tube, Laryngeal Mask and Fast-Track.
